You may remember Kenneth and Gloria’s vintage engagement session I did a couple months ago.  If not, you can check it out here to read about their love story that started when they were teenagers.

When I got to Gloria’s house on the day of the wedding, she was as giddy as she probably was back when she was a teenager every time anyone mentioned Kenneth’s name.  She talked about how she has written “Gloria Ortez” about a million times and couldn’t wait for that to be her final name.

Gloria told me that when she looks at Kenneth, she can still see that 16 year old handsome boy that she fell in love with so long ago.  While you could see that her love for Kenneth was the deepest, purest, most sincere type of love, her new name “Gigi” was the icing on the cake.  Not only was she marrying the man of her dreams, but she was gaining a son, a daughter in law, a daughter, a son in law, and 2 sweet grand babies, all things she has longed for for years.  I think it was easy to say that May 19 was the best day of Gloria’s life.

From the first time he saw her in her beautiful lace wedding dress to the way he held her during their first dance, Kenneth looked at Gloria with gentle eyes, full of pure adoration.  He too had that twinkle in his eye that I’m sure he has also had since that skating rink back when he was just a teenager meeting Gloria for the first time.

It was an honor to capture this special day, what Kenneth and Gloria have said several times, “our dream wedding”, because after all the years in between the first time they met and May 19, 2019, they deserved their dream wedding.
