Emily may be one of the most easy going brides I have ever met.  When I did their engagement shoot a couple of months ago, her and Sam both were there just to have some fun.  They warned me at the beginning that they didn’t know how to pose and weren’t very photogenic.  However, you can see from their engagement pictures here that we definitely had a lot of fun.

On the day of their wedding Emily’s nerves were calm.  It was obvious that she was just really trying to relax and soak up this special day.  Sam, however, was a basket case, but in the sweetest way possible.  When I was getting him in the right place for their first look, I asked him how he was feeling.  His response was, “Nervous and excited.  I think I cried two times on the way over here,” and his reaction to seeing Emily for the first time was unforgettable.  I don’t think there was a dry eye from anyone who was watching, including me.

Their intimate wedding was located at The Little Chapel In The Woods on the campus of Texas Woman’s University.  The chapel is a beautiful, quaint little chapel with gorgeous stained glass windows.  The grounds right outside the chapel was just beautiful for all of our bride and groom and bridal party photos.

About a week before the wedding, Emily asked me if we could take some pictures at Whataburger in their wedding attire.  When they left the reception I met them at the closest Whataburger for some fun and unique pictures.  They were treated like celebrities from the staff and other customers in the restaurant from the second they walked in.  It was definitely a fun way to end such a fun day!
