Sam and Emily drove down from Oklahoma for their engagement session last Friday, and we couldn’t have had better weather for the evening, especially considering the next day was a monsoon here in North Texas.  Why is it that every weekend seems to be rainy, but the work week has the most beautiful weather?

Anyways, Sam and Emily were the most easy going couple.  As we walked and talked, Emily told me that they have only been engaged a couple of months and excited to get married in June.  They both didn’t want a long engagement, and are excited about their simple and intimate wedding in less than 2 months.

These two couldn’t stop laughing together, and they both just glowed when they looked at each other.  They mentioned from the very beginning that they were awkward in pictures, but their genuine smiles and their love for each other is the only thing that showed through.

I’m so excited to capture their wedding day.  I know it will be a beautiful beginning to their forever together!
