Back in the summer, Alix reached out to me about taking pictures of her new family of 5. We decided on a date, location, and were nailing down the details when they decided 100 degree weather and pictures was going to be rough with 3 little ones. We rescheduled for October, and we had the most gorgeous weather and sunlight.
The golden light at Clear Creek Nature Preserve was just gorgeous. It gave the perfect fall glow, not a cloud in the sky, and the temperature was just perfect. We honestly couldn’t have picked a better fall day. Alix and Jorel knew my husband before I came into the picture through church, and while we don’t go to the same church now and run in the same circle, it has been so fun on social media to watch this sweet family grow. Alix and I have joked several times that my kids are the blonde version of her kids since they are almost the exact same ages.
Thanks Alix and Jorel for allowing me to capture your gorgeous family. It’s so fun watching old friends in different stages of life, especially ones that we are currently in. Ya’ll are killing the parenthood game, and the twinkle in your eyes when we split off for your “just mom and dad pictures” are a great reminder where it all began!
