Josh and Jamie are some of those people who started out as clients and have turned in to friends. Back in 2021, Jamie reached out to me about shooting her and Josh’s wedding. We did their engagement shoot a month before their wedding, in the middle of summer. Let me tell you. It. Was. Hot! It’s already difficult enough to get the guy excited about photos, so you can imagine how thrilled Josh was to be outside in July. We made it through the session, and I think I won him over. Fast forward to their wedding. After spending the whole day together, we were truly friends, so you can imagine how excited I was when Jamie let me know that they were expecting baby number 2 and wanted me to capture their family of 4.

The day of their newborn session was no different than other newborn photo shoots where the toddler/baby runs the show. I was just there to capture the beautiful chaos. Josh and Jamie were the most relaxed parents. They let the crazy happen and trusted me in it all. I gained new friends in these beautiful people, and that’s the best part of this job.
