I reconnected with Taylor’s mom on Facebook a few months ago.  When I say “reconnected”, I mean that she was my room mom when Taylor was in my 4th grade class 8 years ago, and since leaving the elementary world, I lost touch with most of those students.  One thing I remember about Taylor was her sweet little smile.  She smiled a lot, all the time!  It didn’t matter if she was playing at recess, doing her math, or lining up for special areas.  After her session on Saturday, I was showing Landon a picture of her from when she was in 4th grade, and his response was, “She still looks the exact same.”  And that smile has not changed.

I was so excited when she told me Taylor was a senior and asked me to take her senior photos.  We actually started the session at the elementary school where I taught her and then gradually moved to downtown Denton.  It was such a special shoot for me.  Capturing former students is one of my favorite things ever, and I was honored to capture such a special time for Taylor!
